Does anybody know anything about St. Joseph's, Maricopa, or Phx Children's hosptial in Phx, AZ? I will be interviewing for a travel general ped position with these three so any input would help!

I did an assignment at Maricopa a few months ago, and liked it, mostly. Challenges that frustrated were common for a big, busy county hospital: not enough working equipment to easily do your job well (especially for VS, monitors, etc.) and way too few Spanish interpreters. Overall, I found it a place with a good spirit, and at least accepting, sometimes even friendly to travellers. Lots of varied experiences there! Good luck. |
