Hi,
I am looking into picking up some per diem shifts. As I am new to this area of nursing can someone please give me the pros and cons of working per diem? Thanks! |

I've been doing per diem nursing for the past 9 years and I love the flexibility, and increased pay and depending on what the market is like in your area, work availability is something to think about too. If there are alot of needs, you're in business! I work for an agency now and I have my pick of shifts. There are benefits available too at some places. I have found it to be a win/win situation for me. Good luck!! |
