I was a travel nurse in 2000 and 2001. Worked as a tele nurse. Came back to Alabama and got 4 years of experience as a PACU nurse and am now ready to travel again. I have always wanted to be an OR nurse and now that I am in my 50's, I am finding it very hard to break into that field. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to move into surgery? I am not even able to land a job in surgery here at home as they all want nurses with OR experience. HELP!  |
